What an Integrative Holistic MD Does Differently

We are the best of both worlds, honestly. As an integrative holistic family practice doctor, I use all my medical skills, but with heart, compassion and a sense of connection with nature and spirit (all with a huge smile and laughter). I combine multiple therapies with the goal of enhancing the patient’s optimal health as a whole person: body, mind and spirit. I love preventing and treating disease by addressing the root cause and contributing factors.

With stress reduction and lifestyle modification, I seek to restore the various imbalances (mental, physical, hormonal, psychosocial, spiritual) that may be resulting your chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, depression, anxiety, insomnia, weight problems, fatigue, muscle aches, and other conditions that could be affecting health and wellness. This evidence based approach results in better outcomes.

I LOVE to help and heal! I help those who need a different approach to healing or in conjunction with medication, as well as those who would like to live as healthy as they can to prevent disease and thoroughly enjoy life. Chronic inflammation gradually destroys the beautiful system that we were born with. It’s the common denominator of chronic diseases–the increase of chronic illness we see today is a direct outcome of an increase in inflammation. Unfortunately, most people suffer from one or more of these disorders, but don’t know how to eliminate inflammation. Instead of addressing the root cause to chronic diseases, many doctors today are prescribing pharmaceuticals to simply address the symptoms until the issue is just manageable.
